    Ingredients to make Golden Mini Idli:

    2½ cup basmati rice, 5 tablespoon sesame oil, 1½ cup urad dal, 1½ teaspoon salt, water as required, ½ cup shredded carrots

    Steps to make Golden Mini Idli:

    1. Soak rice and urad dal separately for 4-6 hours.

    2. Grind the rice and dal separately to a fine paste. Add water accordingly.

    3. Mix both the pastes together in a large bowl and whisk well to form a batter. Leave in a warm place to ferment for 5-6 hours.

    4. Once the batter has risen, add salt to the batter and whisk well. Pour into greased mini idli moulds, top with the carrots, and steam for 10-12 minutes. Serve with sambhar and chutney.
