Healthy Atta Lapsi

Broken wheat(lapsi) and jaggery are rich in carbohydrates. Using these ingredients, you can prepare Atta Lapsi. Flavoured with ghee and raisins, this dessert tastes amazing.

    Ingredients to make Atta Lapsi:

    ½ cup broken wheat, ½ cup jaggery, 4-5 raisins, 1 tsp ghee

    Steps to make Atta Lapsi:

    1. In a pan, add half tsp ghee. Once warm, add lapsi and saute for about 10 minutes till it turns golden brown.

    2. Prepare jaggery syrup by melting jaggery in little water on medium flame. Filter off the impurities.

    3. Add 2 cups of hot water and mix well. Add the Jaggery syrup and mix well. Ensure no lumps are formed.

    4. In a pan, add half tsp ghee. Add the raisins and saute them till they puff up.

    5. Finely chop the raisins and mix with the lapsi.

    Yummy and healthy Atta Lapsi is ready. Enjoy!
