Hot Steam-Cooked Three Cereal Idlis

Idlis are amazing and healthy for your little one’s tummy as they are steam cooked and has the necessary proteins and carbohydrates to provide growth and energy vital during this time.

    Three cereal idlis can be prepared using rice and dals. You can also add little sago and white poha to make it crispy, soft and tasty. Sago has valuable vitamin and minerals.

    Ingredients to make Three cereal Idlis:

    3 cups raw rice, ½ cup urad dal, ¼ cup sago, 2 tsp poha, ¼ tsp fenugreek seeds, salt as per taste

    Steps to make Three Cereal Idlis:

    1. Soak the rice, urad dal and sago in water for 3 hours. Add fenugreek seeds too. Just 15 mins before grinding the idli batter, soak the poha in little water.

    2. Grind all the ingredients into a smooth batter.

    3. Allow the batter to ferment overnight or 6-8 hours. Add salt and mix well once batter is fermented.

    4. Pour the batter in idli moulds and steam them for 5 mins. Allow it to cool for 2 mins.

    Hot steam-cooked three cereal idlis are ready for your baby. Enjoy feeding your little one.
