Using rice flour and wheat flour along with jaggery, all a good source of carbohydrates, you can prepare Jaggery Cheela. Flavour this sweet cheela with coconut and ghee and it tastes superb. Over all, a yummy and healthy dish.

    Ingredients to make Jaggery Cheela:

    2 cups rice flour, ¼ cup wheat flour, ½ cup grated coconut, 1.5 cups powdered jaggery, water as required, 2 tsp ghee

    Steps to make Jaggery Cheela:

    1. In a blender, put the wheat and rice flours and jaggery.

    2. Add water and blend to a smooth paste.

    3. In a vessel, pour the batter. Add the grated coconut and mix well.

    4. Take a spoonful of batter and put on the hot tawa. Spread evenly and drizzle ghee on top and sides

    5. Flip when one side turns crisp and brown.

    6. Cook for another 2 minutes on medium flame and serve warm.
