2 litres Milk, 250 grams Kaddu grated, 2 tbsp Ghee, 1/2 cup Sugar, 3/4 tablespoon cardamom powder
1. Boil milk in a heavy bottomed pan on medium heat. Simmer till reduced to half its quantity. Add cardamom and sugar. Stir well and simmer for 10 min.
2. Heat ghee; add kaddu and saute on medium heat until it turns soft and tender.
3. Add kaddu to the condensed milk and simmer for another 10 minutes, until the kheer is thickened. Remove from heat and serve.
