Pumpkin, which is popularly called as kaddu, helps in improving digestion as it contains adequate amounts of fiber. It is one of the richest sources of Vitamin A and vitamin C which helps in promoting good eye health and improving the immune system.

    Ingredients to make Kaddu ki Phirni (1 serving):

    Pumpkin -100gms, milk -100ml, sugar -25gms, almonds -20gms, pistachios -15gms, cashew nuts -10gms, ghee -10gms, cardamom powder to taste

    Steps to make Kaddu ki Phirni:

    1. Grate pumpkin and keep it aside.

    2. In a pan, add ghee, grated pumpkin and sauté it until its soft.

    3. To the pan, add milk, sugar and cardamom powder and cook it well until done.

    4. Garnish with chopped almonds, pistachios, and cashew nuts.

    Serve this yummy Phirni right away!
