Introduce to a snack so healthy, that you can feel guilt free for making eat them! Packed with mega nutritive value, these tikkis mainly constitute of sweet corn and green peas, which provide essential amounts of potassium and sodium, a good amount of carbohydrates and tons of vitamins! This makes for a great breakfast as well!

Ingredients: 1 cup sweet corn, 1 cup green peas, 2-3 green chillies, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp jeera powder, a pinch of cardamom powder, salt to taste, 1 cup corn flour, oil
Steps:
1. Boil sweet corn kernels and green peas separately until they are cooked. Make sure they do not overcook and become pasty.
2. Let the corn and peas cool. After they cool, add them to a blender with 2-3 green chillies and blend until a coarse consistency is achieved.
3. In a wide bowl, add the corn and peas mixture. To this, add red chilli powder, jeera powder, cardamom powder and salt to taste. Mix well and let it rest for about 20 minutes.
4. A little bit of water will be released by the mixture after resting because of the salt. Strain the water and fix the spices if needed.
5. Add corn flour to the mixture and give it a good mix.
6. Now, make patties out of the mixture and coat them with some more corn flour.
7. Heat oil in a pan on low heat. Add 2 tikkis at a time and pan fry them for about 5-8 minutes on each side. Wait until they become golden brown.
Serve this hot with tomato sauce and relish it.
