This dish is rich in sodium, protein, vitamin B6, iron, phosphorus, selenium, manganese. Iron is required for red blood cell formation in your little one. Phosphorus in chicken helps to keep your kid's bones strong and healthy, to help make energy, and to move their muscles.
Contents
2 cups rice, 4 cups of water, 250 gm chicken, 2 carrots chopped, 2 beans chopped, salt to taste
1. Add 2 cup rice in 4 cups of water and wait for the rice to cook at medium heat.
2. Add the chopped beans and carrots into the over cooked rice. Rice is over cooked so that a puree is formed, which is easy for the baby to swallow.
3. Mix the rice and the veggies.
4. Add salt to taste.
5. Cook the chicken separately at low steam. Add the chicken's shredded pieces to the cooked and mashed rice.
Serve this Mashed Chicken Rice to your baby!
