    Ingredients to make Masoor Dal Phulauri:

    1 cup masoor dal (soaked for 2 hours or more), 1 tablespoon garlic paste, 1 teaspoon red chili powder, salt to taste, mustard oil for frying

    Steps to make Masoor Dal Phulauri:

    1. Grind the soaked dal in a mixer . add little water to get thick paste

    2. Add other ingredients except oil and whip well

    3. In a kadai , heat mustard oil till hot

    4. Drop a small quantity of the batter into the oil, if it comes up immediately , then oil is ready for frying . else wait for some more time.

    5. Fry 3/4th teaspoon of the batter in batches till golden brown.

    Serve hot with the chutney of your choice.
