Mini Creamy Corn Cob Roundels

Your kid's favorite sweet corn dish can be reinvented with a new taste. Corn is rich in fiber, carbohydrates, thiamine and vitamin B6. Prepare this dish for a snack on any week day for your hungry kiddo.

    Ingredients: 2 tender sweet corns cob cut into roundels, salt, 1 tbsp butter, 1/2 cup mayonnaise. To make cheese mixture: 1 and ½ grated processed cheese,1 tbsp dried oregano, 2 tbsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika).

    Steps:

    1. Cook the corn roundels with salt in a pressure cooker for a whistle.

    2. Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid. Keep it aside.

    3. Drain all the water through a strainer and keep aside.

    4. Heat butter in a broad non stick pan, add the cooked corn roundels and saute on a medium flame for 2 minutes.

    5. Dip a corn roundel in mayonnaise till it is evenly coated from all sides.

    6. Roll it in prepared cheese mixture, till it is evenly coated.

    7. Insert a long wooden skewer in the center. And serve immediately.
