Millets are valuable sources of fibre and vitamin B12. Fibre takes time to digest and makes you feel full for longer. This also helps in keeping blood sugar and insulin levels down. All grains are naturally low in calorie density. Beans, peas, and chana dal are high in fiber and protein, and contain several key vitamins and minerals. Multi Millet Savory Porridge is a nutritious food and it is also a very easy to cook dish with great taste.

Mixed millet powder-1 cup, oil-1 tsb, chana dal powder-1/4 cup, French beans-1/4 cup, green peas-1/4 cup, water-6 cup, coriander leaves-few and salt-to taste
1. Heat oil is a pan and add green peas, chopped beans and salt. Fry for 5 minutes.
2. Mix 2 tablespoons of mixed millet powder and half tablespoon of chana dal powder in 2 cup of water in a bowl. Use a whisk to dissolve the powder and ensure there are no lumps.
3. Transfer this mixture to pan containing fried peas and beans. Cook the mixture on a low flame for 5-10 minutes. Whisk in between to ensure it stays smooth.
Transfer to a bowl. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
