When your child is craving for dosa, you can prepare delicious Oats Instant Dosa. Oats is rich in fibre. Along with sooji, which is a good source of carbohydrates, you can prepare this tasty dosa, that does not require any grinding and fermentation.
Contents
1 cup oats, ½ cup sooji, 1 cup butter milk, 3-4 sprigs of coriander leaves, 1 tsp cumin, salt as per taste, 3 tsp oil
1. In a mixer, grind the oats.
2. In a mixing bowl, add the ground oats, sooji and butter milk. Give a good stir.
3. Add finely chopped coriander leaves, cumin and salt.
4. The consistency of the batter has to be thin and flowing like rava dosa batter.
5. On a hot tawa, drizzle ¼ tsp oil and using a tissue paper spread it carefully on the tawa. Pour one laddle of the batter and cook on both sides till the dosa turns crisp and golden brown. Sprinkle oil on sides and top while doing so. The dosa is thin and hence will take more time to cook than the regular dosa.
6. Hot crisp Oats Instant Dosa is ready for your child to devour and enjoy.
Serve with chutney.
