Orange Kesari is a dessert that can be prepared in minutes and your kiddo would love it. Prepared from suji, orange juice, and dry fruits, this dish is rich in vitamin C.

1 cup semolina, 4 tbsp ghee, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup orange juice, 2-3 strands of kesar or saffron, 1 cup water
1. Heat ghee in a deep skillet roast semolina on low flame till it turns aromatic.
2. Boil water, sugar and orange juice in another pan. Boil till the sugar dissolves.
3. Add this boiled water orange juice mix to semolina in kadai and cook the halwa till rava absorbs the syrup. Keep stirring in between.
4. Take 2 tbsp water in a bowl; add saffron strands. Mix well. Add this saffron water to rava mixture.
5. Cover and simmer the rava for 2 minutes. Add 2 tbsp ghee on top.
Garnish it with orange gest and serve to your little one.
