This is very good for your digestion and a light option for the summers too. Curd rice is famous as a south Indian delicacy. It has a lot of health benefits. As it merges the health benefits of both the rice and curd, this easy recipe is too good for your overall health. Curd is a super source of protein and calcium, and rice adds energy to the whole dish!

Rice, curd, pomegranate, milk
1. Cook rice in enough water until fully cooked.
2. Cool the cooked rice. Combine the rice and 2 tbsp of water in a deep bowl and mash it lightly.
3. Add salt, curds and mix well. Add milk to give the curd rice a creamy texture.
4. Heat the oil in a small broad non-stick pan add the mustard seeds and urad dal and sauté on a medium flame for 30 seconds.
5. Add the tempering to the prepared curd-rice mixture and mix well.
Add pomegranate seeds and coriander leaves and serve!
