    Ingredients to make Rice Rawa Upma:

    2 cups rava-rice, 3/4 tsp mustard seeds, 3/4 tsp cumin seeds, 1 tbsp chana dal, 1 tbsp urad dal, 1 tsp ginger julienne, 1/4 tsp asafoetida, 10-15 curry leaves, ½ tsp turmeric powder, 2 tbsp roasted peanuts, salt to taste, 1 tbsp oil

    Steps to make Rice Rawa Upma:

    1. Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add chana dal and urad dal, saute till the dals turn red.

    2. Add the mustard seeds and cumin seeds. When the seeds splutter, add the ginger, asafoetida and curry leaves.

    3. Add rice rava and 3½ cups of water, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well and pressure cook for 3 whistles. Serve hot.
