A quick and easy sweet made from vermicilli and milk, Semiyan Kheer is a great option to serve instantaneously when your child craves for sweets. It has calcium to boost your little one's bone strength.

    Ingredients to make Semiyan Kheer:

    ½ cup vermicilli, 2.5 cup milk, 2 tbsp ghee, 5-6 tbsp sugar, chopped nuts

    Steps to make Semiyan Kheer:

    1. Heat 1 tbsp ghee in deep bottomed pan and add vermicilli.

    2. Stir continuously and roast until golden brown. Keep aside.

    3. Heat another spoon of ghee in a same pan and roast nuts in it. Keep aside.

    4. Boil milk in the same pan over medium flame. When milk comes to boil, add roasted vermicilli.

    5. Stir and cook for 5-6 minutes on medium flame.

    6. Add sugar and cardamom powder. Mix well and boil till sugar dissolves.

    Transfer the hot Semiyan Kheer and refrigerate it 1-2 hours. Garnish it with roasted nuts and serve.
