Soft, thick and spongy Set Dosas can be prepared for your little one using dosa rice, poha, which are both a good source of carbohydrates, and urad dal, which has valuable protein.

2 cups dosa rice, 1 cup poha, ½ cup urad dal, 1.5 tsp fenugreek seeds
1. Wash the rice well and soak the rice in water for about 4 hours.In another bowl, add the urad dal and fenugreek seeds. Wash and soak them for 4 hours too.
2. Just before grinding, wash the poha.
3. Grind the urad dal, fenugreek seeds and poha to a fine paste. Transfer the batter in another bowl.
4. Now, grind the rice. Add it to the urad dal batter.
5. Ferment the batter for 8 to 10 hours or overnight.
6. On a hot tawa, pour a ladle full of batter. Don’t spread it like a normal dosa. Gently dab the dosa and cook on medium flame. Flip and cook the other side too.
Hot and tasty Set Dosa is ready for your baby to devour, taste, and relish.
