Wheat flour poori with the stuffing of peas and potatoes will be your favourite meal in a lunch box. Both peas and potatoes are fibre-rich and high-calorie food which will provide energy to you. Peas also provide protein and potatoes are rich in carbohydrates. This delicious and healthy meal is sure to be a hit!
1-2 mashed potatoes,1 cup peas (boiled), 2 cups wheat flour -1/2 cup chopped methi leaves, salt to taste, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp jeera powder, 1tsp garam masala, 1 tsp ajwain, oil for deep frying
1. In a bowl, add methi leaves, salt, turmeric powder, masala powders, ghee, flour, water and form a smooth dough.
2. Cover it for some time.
3. In a bowl, add the mashed potatoes, peas, masala powders, salt and mix well, make small balls.
4. Next, make small pooris, add the stuffing and cover to make pooris again.
5. Heat oil, then carefully slide the poori and deep fry.
Serve hot!
