This is a healthy version of the classic and delicious Gujarati snack -Dhokla which is made with carrots. As this dish is steamed it is a good healthy option for young children. It can be relished as an evening snack or for breakfast. They can very well be packed as a lunch box meal too. Make this easy recipe today!

    Ingredients to make Vegan Carrot Dhokla:

    Carrots (grated), gram flour, salt as per taste, soymilk curd, pinch of eno, grated coconut, coriander leaves, ginger, turmeric powder, sugar, mustard seeds (optional)

    Steps to make Vegan Carrot Dhokla:

    1. For making this easy snack recipe, add gram flour in a bowl with salt.

    2. Beat the soymilk curd, add a pinch of eno, mix into the gram flour.

    3. Now add grated carrot, coconut and coriander leaves, ginger, turmeric powder, sugar.

    4. Pour mixture in a well greased plate.

    5. Steam for 15 minutes. Once it is done, add a seasoning of mustard seeds if required.

    Cut into small square pieces and serve!
