    Ingredients to make Vegetable Idli:

    1 cup idli batter, your kid’s favourite vegetables (carrots, beans, capsicum: all grated), ½ tsp. turmeric powder, ½ tsp. chopped green chili.

    For the seasoning:1 tsp. oil, ½ tsp. cumin seeds/jeera, salt to taste, 1 tbsp. coriander leaves chopped for garnishing.

    Steps to make Vegetable Idli:

    Vegetable filling preparation:

    1. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, green chilli and sauté for a minute.

    2. Add the grated vegetable turmeric, salt and sprinkle water and mix well and cover the pan and let the vegetables cook for 6-7 minutes. The filling is ready.

    For idli preparation:

    1. Take idli plates and grease them. Spoon a tablespoon of idli batter in the bottom and spoon a tablespoon of this vegetable filling on top. Now spoon a tablespoon of batter again on top. Ensure that everything is totally covered.

    2. Steam this for 15 minutes and the stuffed idli is ready.

    Serve today for breakfast to your child along with his favourite chutney.
