Yummy Set dosa

Set Dosas are small in size, soft and spongy in texture. They taste just awesome and remain so soft even after few hours. Prepare this for your kiddo'd lunch box and get ready to recieve loads of accolades from him. They are rich in proteins and carbs.

    Ingredients to make set dosa:

    2 cup rice, ½ cup poha, ½ cup urad dal, 1 tbsp baking soda, coriander leaves, curry leaves, salt

    Steps to make Set Dosa:

    1. Wash and rinse urad dal and rice thoroughly. Soak the dal rice mixture for about 5-6 hours.

    2. Wash poha in another colander just before grinding the mixture.Add the washed poha in dal and rice.

    3. Blend the dal, rice poha mixture in a blender till bubbly. Add water as needed.

    4. Take out the batter in large bowl and set aside for 6-7 hours for fermentation.

    5. Now add salt and baking soda in the batter and mix well.

    6. Heat a dosa tawa, pour one full ladle of batter and dab it gently. Do not spread it like normal dosa.

    7. Spread oil across the edges. Cover and cook it.

    8. Flip gently and cook from another side.

    Serve this yummy Set Dosa with chutney, vegetable korma or sambhar.
