Paper Cup Phone

Your child is quite a creator, who loves to create stuff from things available at home. This is a fun toy making activity which can be done at home and will also help your child become more creative and have better hand-eye coordination skills.

Requisites: Two paper cups, a long thread of plastic tube and a scissor.

Steps:

1. Take the cups and poke a single hole at the centre of the base.

2. Take the string or the tube and make it pass through the holes such that the cups are placed at the extreme ends of the string.

3. Tie a knot so that the string is totally intact.

4. Your Paper Cup Phone is ready. Ask your child to move to a distance and use the cup as a phone receiver to speak and listen.

It is advisory to select a long string. Motivate your kid to perform this task on his own to create his own cup. This is a good way to test your child’s creative side.
