You need to make sure your child is in a wonderful mood to try a new activity. You can play a treasure hunt game in which there is a winning prize involved. At this age, your child will be curious to involve himself in fun activities.

Requisites: Coloured sheets of paper, sand and a large pit.

Steps:

1. Take a large pit and pour sand into it.

2. Cut paper sheets and write different numbers on it.

3. Hide these sheets into the sand.

4. Ask your child to find all the even numbers within 30 seconds. If he does it reward him with a gift.

To make the task more interesting you can also compete with him. This would keep your child motivated. You can even hide small objects such as candy which would push your kid to focus in this activity.
