Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY) was launched on October 11th 2014 by our PM with its goal to build three model villages or Adarsh Grams by 2019. In English this SAGY translates to "Member of Parliament's Model Village Scheme". The programme aims to holistically develop rural India with the active involvement of our Members of Parliament (MPs).

It is the aim of the programme to identify, select villages, and transform them into model communities by addressing the monumental gaps that hinders the growth and developmental aspects of a nation such as education, healthcare, livelihood opportunities etc.
