Fill in a few details such as your full name, mobile number, date of birth, email ID etc.
Create a security PIN for your DigiLocker account. You must ensure to create a strong PIN.
Fill in the 12-digit number of your Aadhaar Card in the required place.
Between the two options, OTP or Fingerprint, choose either of them according to your convenience to proceed.
Once done, click on the “Sign-up” option, after which you can see a dashboard screen, implying you have successfully created your DigiLocker Account.
Once you have successfully created your DigiLocker account, you can start uploading your essential documents to keep it secured, in the following steps:
Go to the official website of Digilocker. You can also log in to the Digilocker mobile app using your username and password.
Click on the "Upload" option. Select the files you would like to upload.
You can select multiple files at the same time by clicking on the “open” option.
Click on the "Select Document Type" tab, where you will get a few options. You can choose the "others" option if your documents do not match the options given.
Click on the “Save” button.
Visit the official website of Digilocker.
Sign in to your account with your username and password.
Navigate to the "Get the Document" or "Banking and Insurance" options. You can choose any one of them and click on it.
Go to the “ACKO General Insurance Ltd.” and select the “Two Wheeler” option.
Fill in your ACKO bike insurance policy number and your mobile number.
The system will automatically fetch your policy document and save it in your account.
You can then go to the “Issued Documents” option to access your policy document from there.
