  • Step 5: Next, press on the Service Details and choose '13-TRANSPORT'

  • Step 6: Choose the required service – "Passenger Tax", "Road Tax", or "Dealer Deposit" as applicable

  • Step 7: Select the "Other Details" option and enter the registration number and RTO code

  • Step 8: Click on "Validate", and the name and address will be shown

  • Step 9: Select initiate payment and complete the payment using one of the available payment options (net banking, debit or credit cards)

Penalty for Non-payment of Road Tax in Goa

As paying the road tax is a mandatory requirement as per law, a default in payment leads to penalties and fines. The penalty for non-payment is calculated at the rate of 25% of the annual tax for every defaulting period. This amount has to be paid in addition to the unpaid due amount.
