Gujarat is a marvellous state which has many wondrous sights such as the ancient Somnath Temple on the shores of the sea, the salt-infused stretches of land of the Rann of Kutch, which play host to a large number of people during the winter owing to the various sporting events such as camel races etc. that are conducted there.
People travelling to visit these places like Dang are liable to pay the applicable Gujarat Road Tax as per the mandate of the Gujarat Motor Vehicles Tax Act, 1958. The Act stipulates that all vehicle owners residing in Dang or anywhere else in Gujarat or travelling there must pay the compulsory road tax levied by the State Government.
