Follow the below steps to get registered for a driving license:
Apply for a learner's license on the website that is https://parivahan.gov.in/parivahan/.
Explore 'DL Services' from the menu 'Online Services,' which will redirect you to the Sarathi Digital portal.
To get on the home screen, select 'Kerala' as you are a resident of this state.
Now submit the 'Apply for Learner License' application and choose the test slot.
While taking the LL test, first enter your application number. If you pass the test, you will get your LL the same day.
Once you get the Learner's License, you can go ahead and apply for a permanent license via the same Sarathi portal.
But now you must choose the 'Apply for Driving License' option.
To take the driving test, individuals have to provide all the essential documents and pay a fee. Once you are done with this, ensure to download acknowledgement slips.
On the test day, make sure to bring that slip with you and follow all the instructions of the RTO inspector.
Proof of Identity: Offer a government-issued ID like, Aadhar card, passport, or voter ID.
Proof of Age: Submit a document that verified your age, like, a birth certificate or school leaving certificate.
Address Proof: Furnish documents to confirm your current residential address, like a utility bill or rental agreement.
Passport Size Photographs: Include recent passport-size photographs as per the specified requirements.
Educational Qualifications: Provide copies of educational certificates to meet the eligibility criteria.
Medical Certificate: Submit a medical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner.
Driving School Certificate: If applicable, present a certificate from a recognized driving school.
Learner's License: Include a copy of the learner's license, if applicable.
Formal Application Form: Complete the official license application form with accurate information.
Fee Payment Receipt: Attach proof of payment for the required licensing fees.

Once a vehicle is 15 years of age, the registration needs to be renewed after the RTO staff inspection. The below documents are needed for this purpose: -
