To legally drive or ride a vehicle in Ahmedabad, all vehicle owners/drivers must abide by the traffic rules and regulations. To curb that, the Indian government passed The Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Act 2019 on September 1, 2019. It brought stricter rules, new violations and increased fines to discourage traffic offences.
