Introduced to streamline the traffic violation system, an e-challan is essentially an electronic copy of a traffic violation ticket. The e-challan process kicks off when a traffic violation is detected, either manually by traffic personnel or automatically through advanced CCTV cameras installed at various city junctions. The detected violation information is digitally uploaded onto a central database along with your vehicle details.
