This quiet yet stunning beach requires you to walk down a flight of 172 steps! Trust us, the walk to the bottom IS SO WORTH IT! We recommend that you go to this beach around sunset, when the sky is awash in reddish hues that sparkle on the sea. Unlike other beaches in Uluwatu, Padang Padang is less crowded, so you can have more fun. You can refuel after that long hike down the stairs at cafes. If you still have the energy, you can hang out, soak up the sun, and have fun.
If you're using a GPS on a motorcycle like we did, you'll need to slow down when you go to Suluban Beach, or you might miss it! Similar to Padang Padang Beach, you'll need to walk down a bunch of steps, but not as many as 172! The beach is just beyond a little cave, which gives you a spectacular glimpse of the beach before you actually get to it. Whether you just want to sunbathe or hit the surf, there's an activity here for you!
You'll have to get to Nusa Dua by the bridge that connects it to mainland Bali. Nusa Dua Beach has a gorgeous coastline where you can see lots of hotels and resorts - and maybe you're staying at one of them!
Want a relaxed beach holiday? Stay close to the shore, where the weather is pleasant during the dry season and just hot enough for a great tan. If you came here for the watersports, there's a bunch waiting for you! Choose from snorkelling to surfing! Take a ride on a fishing boat with the locals or gaze at the ocean floor on a glass-bottom boat.
Uluwatu has a great party scene and nightlife! Because it's a beach locale, Uluwatu offers you clubs and lounges that overlook nature's bounty - the ocean! After a long day of water sports or trekking, wind down as you chase the sun at the many party places in Uluwatu.
Naturally, Uluwatu has so many gorgeous rooftop bars and lounges, which are a dream for the partygoer. Indulge in good food, great music, and a vibrant party life in Uluwatu At clubs, hotels, standalone bars and rooftop gardens.

Uluwatu is in Bali, a Hindu island nation in Indonesia. There are a lot of beautiful Hindu temples that you can visit when you go to Indonesia. Remember to dress modestly when you go to these temples. Cover your knees and arms and adhere to temple dress codes.
The Uluwatu Temple is one of 6 famous Hindu temples in Bali. In true Balinese style, this temple is at the top of a cliff, and at 70 metres high, it offers the perfect vantage point for worship and gazing out at the Creator's beautiful landscape.
