E tourist visa Meaning, Eligibility, and Documents in 2024

TeamAckoJul 11, 2024

The e-tourist visa was designed to simplify the visa application process. It allows travellers to apply for and receive a tourist visa electronically without visiting an embassy or consulate in person. In India, the e-tourist visa scheme started in November 2014 and was initially available in 43 countries. Later, it was expanded to 76 countries, and there are plans to extend it to even more countries in the future.
