Figs(anjeer) are a great source of fibre, vitamin and minerals. Choose ripe figs that are tender and plump but not mushy. This will ensure you get the tastiest anjeer puree for your little one. You can flavour with coriander seeds and onion, which have valuable vitamins and mineral nutrients.

Ingredients to make Anjeer Puree:
3 figs where stem has been removed and quartered, ½ onion sliced , 1 tsp coriander seeds finely powdered
Steps to make Anjeer puree:
1. In a pan, dry roast the coriander seeds for 2 mins. Once cool, grind the seeds into a fine powder.
2. In a vessel, boil half cup water. Add the sliced onions and blanch for 2 mins.
3. In a blender, add the blanched onion and quartered figs. Blend to a smooth puree.
4. Add the powdered coriander and give a mix.
Anjeer puree is ready for your cutiepie. Make it part of breakfast or give it as an evening snack.
