Finger millet or Ragi is packed with nutrients, especially calcium, iron, and amino acids. For some people, it may take some time to get acquainted with the taste, but the effort is worth it. Here is how you can make a simple and easy to cook Ragi Porridge:

Ingredients to make Ragi Porridge:
4 tbsp ragi flour, ghee, water, sugar, milk
Steps to make Ragi Porridge:
1. Add 4 tbsp Ragi flour to 1 tbsp water and mix well to remove lumps.
2. Cook the mixture on medium heat with a few drops of ghee and stir continuously.
3. When the mixture thickens up, add ½ cup milk and sugar (if necessary). Note: If baby is less than 12 months, add water instead of milk. If you have excess breastmilk, you can mix bm with the porridge just before feeding. Do not heat the breastmilk.
4. Cook till the consistency is right.
5. Let it cool and serve.
