Ragi is an excellent food for babies. Combining with apple, you can make Yummy Apple Ragi Halwa, which is full of the goodness of thiamin, zinc, copper and manganese. This recipe can be made in jiffy.

    Ingredients to make Yummy Apple Ragi Halwa:

    1 tbsp ragi flour / finger millet flour, ½ tsp. ghee, 1 large sweet apple, water as required, ¼ tsp. Sugar/jaggery

    Steps to make Yummy Apple Ragi Halwa:

    1. Mix ragi well with water in a pan, switch on the heat and bring it to boil gradually while stirring constantly.

    2. Wash and grate apple and add to the ragi mixture and mix well and cook.

    3. You can add some water if needed and cook till the apples are cooked well.

    4. Add jaggery, ghee and mix well and let it cook for another minute.

    Ragi apple halwa is ready to serve. You can prepare for today’s breakfast and entertain your baby with the goodness of apples too.
