Apple Ragi Porridge

Ragi is rich in iron and calcium. Its also a rich source of protein. Along with apples, which are a good source of dietary fibre, vitamin B and C, you can prepare delicious Apple Ragi Porridge for your baby.

    Ingredients to make Apple Ragi Porridge:

    2 tbsp ragi flour, ½ apple, 1 tsp ghee, 1 tsp crushed jaggery

    Steps to make Apple Ragi Porridge:

    1. Wash and peel the apple. Cut into small cubes. Steam them and grind to a puree.

    2. In a mixing bowl, add water and ragi flour. Mix well.

    3. In a vessel, pour the ragi mixture and cook slowly on low heat for about 5 minutes.

    4. Add the apple puree, crushed jaggery and cook for another 2 mins.

    5. Finally, add the ghee and give a good stir. Switch off the flame.

    Delicious apple and jaggery flavoured, Apple Ragi Porridge is ready for your baby to eat.
