Apples are a rich source of phytonutrients, antioxidants, flavonoids, Vitamin C, beta-carotene, riboflavin, thiamine, potassium, phosphorus and calcium. Yogurt is highly beneficial and rich in proteins, carbohydrates, probiotic bacteria, calcium, phosphorus, iodine, Vitamin B2, molybdenum, zinc, Vitamin B5, potassium, tryptophan, Vitamin B12 and linoleic acid.

Ingredients: 1 apple peeled, cored and sliced thinly; ½ cup water, 1 cup full fat yogurt
Steps:
1. In a saucepan, boil the apples in water. Cover the saucepan with a lid and let the content simmer for about 10 minutes till the apples are soft and cooked.
2. Pour the juices and cooked apples into a blender and process into a smooth puree
3. Mix this apple puree with yogurt in a bowl and serve it.
