An awesome and wholesome porridge, bele sari, can be made using wheat flour, which has essential carbohydrates and tur dal, which is rich in protein. Adding little ghee, gives the necessary fats too.

Ingredients to make Bele Sari:
¼ cup wheat flour, ¼ cup moong dal, 1/2 tsp ghee, salt as per taste, 1 cup water.
Steps to make Bele Sari:
1. In a pan, dry roast the wheat flour till the raw smell of the flour goes off.
2. Pressure cook the moong dal.
3. In the same pan, add ½ cup water and bring to a boil. Add the roasted wheat flour slowly and keep stirring. Add the cooked moong dal, salt and ghee.
4. Mix well on a medium flame for about 5 mins. You can adjust the consistency by adding water.
Hot bele sari is ready. Enjoy!
