Carrot dal mash is a simple recipe that you can quickly prepare for your little one. It combines the goodness of carrots and dal. Carrots are a rich source of manganese, copper, iron, potassium, folate, pantothenic acid, Vitamin B8, Vitamin K, Vitamin C, Vitamin A, dietary fibre and beta-carotene. Toor dal is rich in folate, protein, carbohydrates and dietary fibre. While dal can help your baby gain weight, carrots add taste to the mash, strengthen immune system and promote healthy bowel movements. Here’s how you can make carrot dal mash at home easily:
Contents
Ingredients: 2 tbsp. toor dal, 1 medium carrot, 1 pinch of turmeric powder, ½ tsp ghee, a pinch of salt, 1 cup of water.

3. Mash the dal-carrot mixture, add a very tiny amount of ghee and serve.
