Guava Mash

Guava is a rich source of vitamin C and helps to improve immune system of your child. By adding Jaggery, rich in vitamins and minerals), a natural sweetner, you can make delicious Guava mash. Garnishing with roasted and powdered Groundnut, rich in vitamins and minerals and adding mint juice, aids in digestion, which makes a wonderful puree for your little one.

Ingredients to make Guava Mash: 

1  ripe guava, 2 tsp Jaggery, 3-4 peanuts finely powdered, 3-4 mint leaves, ¼ tsp oil, a pinch of salt.

Steps to make Guava Mash:

1. Wash the guava and peel it. Cut into half and scoop out the seeds from them.

2. Now in a pan, take all the flesh of the guava and cook it in little water for 5 minutes.

3. Once it becomes soft, cool and add in the blender. Add crushed jaggery. Blend to a fine puree.

4. Saute groundnuts in oil for 1-2 minutes. Grind to a fine powder.

6. Grind mint leaves in little water and filter its juice. Mix it to the puree. Add a pinch of salt.

Finally, add the powdered groundnut to the puree and mix well. Guava Mash is ready to be devoured by your little one!
