Looking for a nice appetizer? Try the Mango Dal Soup! Mango is rich in vitamins while arhar dal is rich in protein. These two are the main ingredients used here. You can flavor the soup by sauteeing onions in little mustard oil, which boosts immunity.

Ingredients to make Mango Dal Soup:
2 raw mangoes, ½ cup arhar dal, ¼ onion, ¼ tsp mustard oil, a pinch of turmeric, salt to taste
Steps to make Mango Dal Soup:
1. Finely chop the onion and raw mangoes
2. Wash the arhar dal and drain the water.
3. In a pressure pan, add oil and saute onion. Add the raw mango, turmeric and salt.
4. Add the arhar dal and 2 cups water.
5. Pressure cook till 4-5 whistles.
6. Once cool, mash the dal and mango and make it lump free. Add water to get a soup-like consistency.
7. Bring to a boil.
Mango Dal Soup is ready!
