Apples are one of the healthiest fruits a person can eat. They are high in fiber and vitamin C, and they are also low in calories, with only a trace of sodium, and no fat or cholesterol. Lung cancer risk can especially be lowered through apples' antioxidants. Bananas are the most favorite first food for babies because of its delicious taste, less allergenic nature and creaminess. They are also rich in nutrients, filling tummy for a long time and helps in healthy weight gain in babies. They are rich in fiber, easier to digest and hence prevent constipation. This Mashed Fruits recipe is a must-have for your little one!

1 small size banana, 1 apple, few cashew nuts, 2 tbsp milk
1. Keep all the ingredients ready. Peel the banana, trim the ends with a knife. Chop the apple in slices.
2. Then cut them into small circles and place the banana pieces and the apple clices into a wide bowl. Mash the bananas and apples well (without any chunks) with a fork or masher.
3. Add breastmilk/formula milk/ water. Mix well until you get a creamy mash. Alternatively you can puree the fruits in a mixie/blender with milk to get a fine puree.
This healthy puree of mashed fruits for your baby is ready to enjoy!
