With moong dal and veggies, you can make a healthy soup called Moong Dal Nourishing Soup. Flavour this soup with ghee and ginger to enhance the taste. Moong dal has adequate protein while the veggies have vital vitamin and minerals.

¼ cup moong dal, ¼ inch ginger, 1 tsp ghee, 3-4 pieces of diced carrots, pumpkin, bottle guard, 4-5 spinach leaves.
1. Wash and drain the moong dal.In a pressure pan, add ghee. Once warm, add grated ginger. Saute for 2 mins. Add the moong dal and all vegies. Saute for 2-3 minutes.
2. Add 1 cup water and pressure cook for 1 whistle.
3. Once the steam is cooled, grind the dal veggie mixture.
4. In a wide pan, add the mixture and bring to a boil. Add little water to adjust the consistency if needed.
Moong Dal Nourishing Soup is ready for your child to devour, taste and relish.
