Porridge for Babies

Porridge is good for babies. The wholesome meal is good to cure your little one's hunger and providing multi-nutrients at the same time. It is quite digestible and a must-give to your child in case he has an upset stomach.

    Ingredients to make Porridge for Babies:

    3 tbsp par boiled rice, 3 tbsp fried gram, 3 tbsp punjab wheat, 1/8 cup peanuts, ½ cup sago, 1 tsp barley, a small bit of sukku(dry ginger), 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 tsp ajwain, 1 cup milk, 2 tbsp jaggery

    Steps to make Porridge for Babies:

    1. Dry roast each ingredient except fried gram. Add ried gram in kadai in the last and dry roast in the pan itself.

    2. Mix everything together and blend it to fine powder.

    3. Now take 1spoon of this powder; mix in 1 cup water and cook until it thickens on low flame.

    4. Then add 1 cup milk and jaggery as per taste and cook.

    This new variant of Porridge is ready for your baby. Serve warm. Store porridge powder in an air tight container for later use.
