Chana dal contains high levels of protein, fiber, folate, vitamin B1 and minerals and are an essential source of inexpensive protein diet. It helps to lower the cholesterol and helps in managing blood sugar levels. They are a good source of potassium, iron, and serves as antioxidants. It is easily digestable and serves as a vital source of kids' nutrition. Proteinicious Chana Dal Mash is an easy to make dish, which requires less time.

Chana dal- ½ cup, water-1 cup, and salt- to taste
1. Wash chana dal thrice.
2. Take a pressure cooker and add chana dal with appropriate amount of water and salt.
3. Pressure cook upto 3 whistle at medium flame.
4. Turn off the flame and after sometime open the cooker and mash chana dal properly.
Serve hot with ghee!
