Is your baby making the transition from exclusive breast milk or bottle feeding? It is time for him to get on some solids and this recipe is an amazing choice for your little one. Made with pumpkin and potato, it contains the goodness of fibre and potassium, which are essential for growth of baby in the initial months. Since they cannot be fed directly to the baby, it is best to make a mash from them.

Ingredients: 1 butternut pumpkin, 2 potatoes Water, 2.5 cups
Steps:
1. Peel the potato and cut into small cubes and keep aside.
2. With a peeler, peel the pumpkin. Remove the seeds and cut into small cubes.
3. Take a pan and add water to it. Bring the water to boil. Add the pumpkin and potato cubes and cook for 25-30 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
4. Add the contents into a blender and blend into a puree.
Make this mash for your baby’s meal time and see him cherish the yummy flavours.
