Flavour the sweet further with cardamom powder and saffron. This sweet is a good start when introducing solids to your little one.

Ingredients to make Ragi Sari:

¼ cup Ragi flour, ½ cup Jaggery, 1 cup formula milk, 3-5 each pistachios, cashews, almonds, ¼ tsp cardamom powder, 3-5 saffron strands soaked in 1 tsp water, 1/2 tsp ghee

Steps to make Ragi Sari:

1. In a pan, add the cashews, pistachios, and almonds and saute for 2 minutes. Once cool, grind to a fine powder.

2. In the same pan, prepare the jaggery syrup by melting jaggery in little water on medium flame. Filter off the impurities.

3. In a vessel, add ragi flour and milk. Mix well. Adjust the consistency by adding little water if required.

4. Stir well so that no lumps are formed.

5. On a medium flame, start cooking the ragi mixture. Add the jaggery syrup and keep stirring for 4-5 minutes till it starts to thicken.

6. Finally, add a tsp of nut powder prepared earlier. Also, add the ghee, cardamom powder and saffron water.

Hot and delicious ragi sari is ready. Enjoy feeding this sweet to your bundle of joy!
