Ingredients to make Sweet Potato Porridge:
2 sweet potatoes, 1 tsp. grated jaggery, 1 cup milk, 1/5 tsp. cinnamon powder
Steps to make Sweet Potato Porridge:
1. Thinly slice the sweet potatoes and cook them in a pressure cooker till they are soft and tender.
2. Mash the sweet potatoes. Heat milk in a pan and when it starts boiling add the sweet potatoes. Note: If baby is less than 12 months, add water instead of milk. If you have excess breastmilk, you can mix bm with the porridge just before feeding. Do not heat the breastmilk.
3. Add two pinches of cinnamon powder. Stir and mix well.
4. Next, add the grated jaggery and stir well to ensure that it has completely dissolved in the milk.
Turn off the flame and serve the porridge warm.
