Turnips are a rich source of potassium, Vitamin C, dietary fibre, phosphorus, calcium, Vitamin B6 and folate. Apples are rich in phytonutrients, antioxidants, flavonoids, Vitamin C, beta-carotene, riboflavin, thiamine, potassium, phosphorus and calcium. This puree combines both these highly nutritional ingredients and offers a nourishing meal for your baby.

Ingredients: 1 small turnip, 2 apples, water
Steps:
1. Peel and chop the turnips. Place in a steamer and cook for about 10-15 minutes.
2. Peel, core and chop the apples and place in the steamer along with the turnip and cook for another 15 minutes till both are soft and tender.
3. Remove from the steamer and set aside for cooling.
4. Transfer into a blender, pour water as per the consistency required and process into a smooth puree.
