Veggie Oat Porridge

A combination of veggies, which have vital vitamin and minerals and oats, which are a good source of fibre, when cooked results in veggie oat porridge. Flavour this porridge with all the goodness of curry leaves.

    Ingredients to make Veggie Oat Porridge:

    ¼ cup oats, 2-3 pieces of carrot, 3-4 potato cubes, 8-10 peas, 2-3 curry leaves.

    Steps to make Veggie Oat Porridge:

    1. In a pressure pan, add the veggies and little water (enough to cover the veggies). Pressure cook for 2 whistles. Once cool, blend the veggies into a fine puree.

    2. In a blender, powder the oats. Dry roast the curry leaves and powder it too. Keep aside.

    3. In a vessel, add water and put the oats powder. Cook on medium flame till the oats turn soft.

    4. Add the puree of the vegetables to the cooked oats and give a good mix. Sprinkle the curry leaf powder on top. Switch off the flame.

    Delicious and nutritious Veggie Oat Porridge is ready for your baby to eat and enjoy.
